The Platinum P range of fertilisers are granulated products combining apatite rock phosphate mined and acid activated at Monto in Central Qld, coated Black Urea* and Mineral Trace elements.

Why use the Platinum P range?

Phosphate

Ausmin Australia has its own phosphate operation in Monto, Central Qld. This allows us to market a locally produced, high quality product giving farmers a real choice in fertiliser products. Contains no heavy metals

Trace Minerals

The Platinum P range contains mineral fertilisers. These are slow release, natural products made by crushing fertile rock minerals into bioactive powders. This mineral fertiliser will contain a range of different elements that are important for plant growth.

Conventional chemical fertilisers can bring about impressive short term results but may also lead to soil health issues such as acidity and nutrient imbalances. Conventional fertilisers may also impact negatively on your soil’s biology. Biological activity is essential for productive soils. The addition of Mineral fertilisers can overcome some of these negative issues by building and balancing fertility in a way that does not cause damage to the soil biology.

Nitrogen

Platinum P products use the patented Black Urea* technology, which coats urea prills with humate material. This slows the release pattern, reducing loss to leaching and volatilization and improves plant response allowing the use of lower rates.

Application

Platinum P products are a consistent granular product and is easily spread using an air seeder, vicon or conventional granular application equipment. Granules use an organic binding agent which may break down if augured repeatedly or if exposed to moisture.
